Community Manager: stitch (formerly hoop app)

A social media startup is anything but predictable, and hoop was no different. In this role I wore many hats and loved every minute of it. From social media influencer outreach and video content creation, to customer service and copywriting marketing messages, I got a true taste of what it means to be the manager of a scratch-made community in a fast-paced startup.

Before working for Masa Tlalim, I was one of their volunteers. So I felt extremely grateful when I had the opportunity to educate and influence others to participate in the program I loved so much. I was able to contribute my social media and website experience, as well as my interest in video and photography to build a well-rounded marketing strategy. In addition, I would attend events and make sales calls to acquire program candidates.
